Job Overview: This individual will act as the first point of contact for our employees, and managers for all Human Resources duties. He or she will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Talent Management (includes recruitment, employee training/development, and talent assessment/evaluations), Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits administration and Compliance for the Company. The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as well as uphold a professional and confidential attitude when dealing with employees and peers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with leaders within the organization to appropriately resolve employee relations issues;
  • Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding processes;
  • Maintain appropriate staff records within HRIS;
  • Partner with the leadership teams in development and execution of human resources initiatives to meet business goals
  • Provide support in the recruitment process and execution of the workforce planning strategy;
  • Leverage the exit survey process and related turnover data;
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law;
  • Assist with department policy review and revision;
  • Support the administration of the company’s benefits program; includes supporting Open Enrollment and COBRA;
  • Direct the annual performance evaluation process;
  • Perform compensation analysis to ensure the Company’s overall compensation and benefits packages are competitive with the industry and local markets. Make recommendations to the CFO and Market Principal(s) for changes;
  • Work on cross-functional teams to perform special HR-related projects (e.g., employee engagement, benefits, compensation, etc.).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be highly organized, detailed, and customer-oriented;
  • Must have solid judgement, discretion, and have the ability to manage sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on multiple projects while meeting deadlines;
  • Strong technology skills in addition to an ability to pick up on systems quickly;
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of staff throughout the organization;
  • A team player and collaborator who can work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment;
  • Exceptional MS office suite skills, including: Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point;
  • Customer service orientation framed by exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Work Experience:

  • Ideally 8+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in an Architecture or Engineering firm a plus

Formal Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management or Human Resources

Licenses/Certifications:

  • PHR and or SHRM-CP certification a plus
