What first interested you in architecture?

I first took interest in architecture when I was pretty young by playing with LEGOs and doodling my way through school. LEGOs and drawing at a young age always gave me an opportunity to be creative and think outside the box, especially after the LEGO instructions were thrown out. I did my best to carry that creativity and mindset of thinking outside the box with me through school and eventually to today. The opportunity to design and create something from pen and paper to reality is still a driving factor in my career today.

What is favorite project you are currently working on and why?

I am currently working on a rec center with many different indoor sporting programs that I am really excited about. It is an opportunity to get experience in a new project type for me and also gives me and my team the opportunity to get pretty creative with the designs.

What do you enjoy most about working at Method?

I really enjoy Method’s overall culture because working at Method gives me the tools to expand my knowledge about architecture and push me to learn more and work harder while still letting me be myself!

What are you most excited about moving to Dallas?

Besides being close to the Cowboys, I am really excited about being part of Method’s growth in a booming part of the country for architecture and construction right now.

Outside of work, what are your favorite hobbies and things to do?

I spend A LOT of my free time going to concerts and traveling for music festivals. Other than enjoying live music, I spend a lot of my free time hanging out with family and friends, traveling, or doing anything outdoors when it isn’t too hot.
