Method continues to grow with some new faces in our Houston office and a new team in Austin! In October, Method Architecture acquired Austin-based Architecture Plus. Our new Austin team is pictured above! The team includes:
Betty Trent, AIA, LEED AP
Principal
Betty, one of the founding Principals and President of Architecture Plus, brings great experience and focus on sustainable design and renovation projects. She is also active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Women and Their Work.
Mac Ragsdale, AIA
Principal
Mac, one of the founding Principals of Architecture Plus, brings decades of experience in architecture to Method as well as great enthusiasm for Austin and the arts. Mac’s focus is primarily on deferred maintenance and renovation projects.
Patricia Hunt, LEED AP
Project Manager
Patricia brings great experience in space planning, construction documents and client relations to Method. Patricia has recently completed several major elevator modernization projects for the Texas Facilities Commission. She is involved in AIA Austin and SMPS.
Richard Trusty
Reg. Interior Designer + Project Manager
Richard has over 37 years experience in institutional, educational, public projects and Interior Design. Richard has been involved in the management and design of public administration and interior projects for various public agencies throughout Texas. Many of these projects required programming, facility assessments and creative design for cost effective solutions.
Abel Sedillo
Project Manager
Abel is a Project Manager with experience in planning, design and construction documentation for public, commercial, educational and institutional projects. He has over 15 years managing projects using CADD. Abel is actively involved with Latinos in Architecture (LiA).
Diane Covert, CFM
Project Manager
Diane is a Project Manager with a focus on construction administration, site visits and feasibility studies. She has experience working on public, commercial, educational and institutional projects.
Sonja Hamilton
Office Administrator
Sonja helps manage all aspects in our Austin office. She helps with event planning, bookkeeping, proposal coordination and marketing. She brings a wide range of talents and great enthusiasm to our Austin team.
Houston Office
Jennifer Jimenez, Assoc. IIDA
Designer
Jennifer was recently brought on as a Designer at Method Architecture in the Interiors department. Jennifer is part of the landlord services team which focuses on industrial and corporate projects working with commercial developers and real estate partners.
Melissa Banda
Designer
Melissa joins one of Method Architecture’s interiors teams and will be focused on industrial, retail and hospitality clients. She will be working on projects ranging from offices to restaurants and breweries. Melissa graduated from the University of Houston in 2015.
Corryn Williams
Communications & Marketing Manager
Corryn was brought on as Communications & Marketing Manager at Method Architecture. Her core area of focus is media relations and external communications. Corryn is also bringing her knowledge of design and digital marketing to develop new opportunities for Method.
