Designed to accommodate Ellen Lighting’s office, retail, and distribution operations in Stafford, Texas, the building design incorporates a variety of materials including stained concrete tilt wall, form-liner with wood-grain texture, curtain wall glass, stone and aluminum canopies.
This project is a prime example of the industrial building evolution over the past 30 years. The design of the building challenges the commonplace notion that warehouses have to be plain or ugly. The team utilized economical materials and techniques including concrete tilt-wall, but assembled them in a way to provide a high end look and result. Design features include two story glass curtain wall, stained concrete tilt wall with wood patterned form liner, and a 50’ wide two story tall grand entry portal.
