Galatyn Commons Garage

The parking addition at Galatyn Commons was intended to add additional parking near the largest building on campus. The garage was a steel structure atop an existing precast structure. The steel addition to the garage mimics the existing vernacular. Employing slot perforated folded metal panels the screen creates an articulated wave pattern along the length of the addition. The cost of the garage is $3.85 million increasing the total parking by 196 spots.
