SISSETON WAHPETON OYATE SWO DETENTION FACILITY

The scope of this project encompasses the construction of a new, single-story building from the ground up, designed to serve as an adult detention facility with a capacity of 26 beds. The SWO Detention Center aims to enhance public safety and reduce recidivism by providing a secure and supportive environment for both staff and inmates. Key features of the facility include secure intake and processing areas, holding cells, inmate housing, indoor program areas, visitation rooms, food services, staff support spaces, administrative offices, central control, laundry facilities, and other essential building support services. This comprehensive design ensures that inmates receive the care and assistance they need while maintaining a safe and secure setting for everyone.
