Galatyn Commons Garage

The parking addition at Galatyn Commons was intended to add additional parking near the largest building on campus. The garage was a steel structure atop an existing precast structure. The steel addition to the garage mimics the existing vernacular. Employing slot-perforated, folded-metal panels, the screen creates an articulated wave pattern along the length of the addition. The cost of the garage is $3.85 million, increasing the total parking by 196 spots.
