Method Architecture Expands in San Antonio with Move to River North District

Method Architecture San Antonio moves to 321 6th Street.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – [Feb. 18, 2025] – Method Architecture, a Texas-based architecture and interior design firm, is excited to announce the relocation of its San Antonio office to 321 6th Street in the rapidly growing Lower Broadway district at River North. The move marks a new chapter for the firm as it continues to expand its presence and deepen its investment in the San Antonio community.

Previously located at The Pearl (200 E Grayson), Method Architecture’s new office places the firm in the heart of one of San Antonio’s most dynamic and evolving neighborhoods. The Lower Broadway corridor has become a focal point for revitalization and innovation, aligning with Method’s commitment to forward-thinking design and community-driven projects.

“This move reflects both our growth in the San Antonio market and our enthusiasm for being part of an area of town that’s evolving into a creative and community hub,” said Corryn Williams, Principal at Method Architecture. “We look forward to inviting our clients and partners into a space that better supports our growing team and fosters innovation.”

Method Architecture opened its first San Antonio office in 2020 and acquired local firm GSC Architects in 2022.

The new location offers an inspiring workspace that embodies Method Architecture’s playful and unconventional approach to design. The 4,283-square-foot space is more than double the size of their previous office, reflecting the firm’s continued growth in San Antonio. The design of the space capitalized on the original industrial nature of the building, a nod to the firm’s expertise in designing industrial and manufacturing facilities. Concrete floors, exposed steel structure, and a sawtooth roof give the space a sense of gravity while pops of color, whimsical wall coverings, and furniture bring a sense of playfulness that warms up the space.

The building at 321 6th Street has a storied history in design, having served as the residence of local designer Jill Giles who is best known for her work with local brands such as Pearl, Hotel Emma, The Esquire Tavern, and El Mirador. Converted from her residence to commercial space in 1995, the building has since been occupied by Giles Design Bureau and Lake|Flato Architects. The 1920’s era brick building was originally occupied by the Petty Geophysical Laboratories. The blasting chamber used for testing still remains in the building and is serving as the main conference room.
