Method Architecture Promotes Four to Associate Principal

With continued plans for firm growth and expansion, Method Architecture recently promoted four employees to Associate Principal. In this role, they join the firm’s Senior Leadership team responsible for the strategic vision and planning for company growth. Join us in celebrating their commitment to the firm and passion for providing quality, ego-free architecture.

Angel Gonzales

Angel Gonzales was promoted to Associate Principal in the Houston office where he continues to lead one of the firm’s ground-up buildings studios focused on industrial, mixed-use, retail and sports projects. Gonzales has been with Method for 8 years and most recently led the team as Architect of Record on M-K-T, a high-profile mixed-use development in Houston’s Heights neighborhood.

Teammates are everything to be successful and when you can build a sense of comradery and commitment to the team, it makes the process that much better. Drew Hayes

Drew Hayes was promoted in the North Texas office where he leads both ground-up and interiors teams with a focus on mixed-use, retail, industrial, and tribal projects. Hayes was formerly the Principal at Primal Architecture which was acquired by Method Architecture in 2019. Notable recent projects include Lockwood Distilling Company in Richardson, TX and several new mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects in the Metroplex.

Raul Garcia

Raul Garcia was promoted to Associate Principal in the firm’s Austin office where he leads Method Architecture’s public team as well as buildings and tenant interior projects across the Central Texas region. Garcia has over 20 years of experience designing and managing architectural projects with a focus in public and education projects.  Most recently, he led the design team for the new visitor center complex at Aransas National Wildlife Refuge in Austwell, TX.

Jessica McDonald

Jessica McDonald was promoted to Associate Principal as the firm’s Director of Human Resources. Jessica leads the firm’s people strategy and is integral in talent acquisition and retention efforts, culture development, human capital management, people development, and supporting the creation and execution of significant strategic HR initiatives. As a member of the leadership team, Jessica will continue to help Method create strategies to attract and retain the best talent while providing a healthy, engaging, and inclusive work environment.
